Slaved over the computer trying to iron out problems and settle route issues. Harry says the ride will be a doddle by comparison. Had a lovely time showing friends 16 species of butterfly then taking a crop of honey from my bees and potting 20lbs or so. Left time for a ride this evening. Garmin says 36 minutes; 8.06 miles; avge speed 13.4 mph; elevation 572ft. Avge cadence (a new word for me) 60 rpm. An eight mile ride isn't much in the way of training but we pushed ourselves. Average speeds much over 10 mph are not to be expected on the ride itself.
